Terms & cancellation

These terms apply to every session. Booking an appointment means accepting them. They are written plainly on purpose: everyone does better when the terms are known in advance rather than discovered on the day.
What is being booked
You are booking a fixed length of time — sixty, ninety or one hundred and twenty minutes, or longer by arrangement — of professional bodywork. The fee is for that time and for the attention and skill brought to it. Nothing else is being purchased, and nothing further is available for any additional sum.
Non-solicitation
Intercourse is not offered or available at any price. Sessions are consent-led bodywork between adults. Draping is available throughout and is entirely your choice.
Asking a question about scope is not offensive and will be answered plainly. Continuing to press after an answer, or any conduct that is coercive or aggressive, or arriving visibly intoxicated, ends the session immediately with the full fee due and no refund. There is no second warning and no negotiation about this.
Consent
Consent is continuous and spoken. You will be asked, and you will be checked in with. You may withdraw consent to any part of a session, or to the whole of it, at any moment, without giving a reason. The fee is unaffected either way, and the time is not shortened as a penalty.
The practitioner may also end a session at any point. That is part of the same agreement and is not a punishment; it is what makes the rest of it real.
Eligibility
- You must be 18 or older.
- Please arrive freshly showered.
- Please disclose injuries, recent surgery, skin conditions, pregnancy, or anything else that affects what is safe.
- A short intake form is completed before a first session.
Booking, deposits and payment
- A $50 deposit confirms the appointment, or $100 for an outcall.
- The deposit is paid by Venmo or Cash App when the booking is made. Payment details are sent privately once a time is agreed.
- Balance due at the time of the session: cash, Venmo or Cash App.
- Outcall pricing is the published session price plus a trip fee. For Groundwork, Featherlight, The Holding and Together, the trip fee is $250 when the session location is within 30 miles of South Gilbert, or $350 when it is farther than 30 miles. It is one fee for the visit, not per person, including for Together. Teaching and At a Distance outcalls are priced by individual arrangement. The deposit for any outcall is $100.
- Gift cards are available for any session or any amount, and do not expire.
Cancellation and lateness
- More than 24 hours' notice: the deposit carries over to another date.
- Less than 24 hours, or a no-show: the deposit is retained, because the time was held and cannot be filled.
- Running late: the session still ends at its scheduled time. The full fee applies.
- If the practitioner cancels: the deposit is refunded in full, or moved, whichever you prefer.
- Genuine emergencies are handled reasonably. Say what happened.
Privacy
Your identity is not discussed with anyone. What you share is kept in my private client book, used only to look after you and to keep me safe on outcalls and nights out, and never sold. On an outcall or a night out, a trusted contact is sent the address or the place, and the time. The privacy notice sets out the detail.
Health and limits of the service
This is not medical treatment, physiotherapy, psychotherapy or a substitute for any of them, and nothing offered here is a diagnosis or a course of treatment. If you have a medical or psychological condition that may be affected, speak to a qualified clinician first.
